Soni is an experimental web layout designed to explore visual rhythm, balance, and spatial arrangements in digital editorial design. Built in Framer, the platform showcases photography and structured micro-content through an organic, asymmetrical grid system.
(Overview)
The primary objective of Soni was to build a visually-driven digital archive that presents editorial imagery with restraint and balance. We focused on crafting dynamic card compositions, subtle hover states, and smooth layout flows to create a tactile, magazine-like browsing experience.
(Challenge)
Arranging non-standard, asymmetrical grid layouts often leads to responsiveness issues and chaotic alignment across mobile viewports. The main challenge was maintaining precise visual spacing and image ratios without breaking the intended artistic structure.
(Solution)
We developed custom flexible layout containers in Framer, ensuring seamless breakpoint transitions and fluid scaling. The result is a clean, expressive digital showcase that preserves artistic intent while delivering fast, intuitive navigation.
